It's an okay book. There's something missing....a feeling or better yet not feeling but just reading words without feeling. I like to feel like I am getting to know the people and feel like I'm either watching the story or feel like I'm part of it and it's just not there. I'm wondering if this was originally written in another language because there's a lot of missing little words. Example:. The man asked did she get a bus and leave town. I'm not sure 5 stars is even enough for this book! I could not put this book down. I love the way Kathleen writes and how she uses multiple POV throughout the entire story. I will say that one downfall was that a few of the POV kind of seemed pointless to me but at the same time got me thinking maybe it has to do with a book that is to come in the future to add on to this series. There are still so many unanswered questions that I want to know the answers to. It is a stand alone but its also one ...more

This is Emily's and Salvatore's book. Now who are they? Emily is Dane's little sister who he hasn't seen since she was a child. If not for bad luck she would have no luck at all....Salvatore is Mafia. This a mix of both MC and Mafia.... one of my favorite.

There's a lot of miscommunication between everyone.... some blackmail, some shooting, and plenty of lovin'. I really did enjoy this book. ...more
