This book was a bit of a disappointment, but only because the rest of Ms. Winters' work is so emotionally charged. The story did pick up around the middle, though, and the author had my heart racing like she usually does. But who am I kidding? Despite the plot holes and the over-flowery language, I've already bought and downloaded the sequel. Pepper Winters has an amazing ability to suck you in and leave you breathless! I would recommend her work any day of the week. ...more

I love pepper winters. I debated 4 or 5 stars on this one. Little cheesy at parts for my taste but still super great!1
