Like Horrostor, Hendrix creates a perfect blend of fiction and supernatural realism. My Best Friend's Exorcism is like a blend of Mean Girls if it were set in the 80's and The Exorcist; catty female friendships mixed with demonic possessions. Just brilliant.
Don't be fooled by the titles and covers. Though his books have a satirical overtone, his storytelling is extremely gripping and enthralling. There are deeper things happening that keep the reader invested in his flawed protagonists. ...more
