What Members Thought
I first learned about this book because of a book blog on Facebook so I immediately went and bought a $5 copy at my local book store. I am so glad I did! Truthfully, I am not sure why the reviews were so low on Goodreads because I found this to be a phenomenal work of historical fiction! The other reason I loved this book was because of the multifaceted character of Lillian Dunkle--she was quite unlike any other main character and that was refreshing!

Started this for a book club, didn't finish in time for the discussion, didn't want to finish afterwards. The story is fine. It's not particularly deep or compelling. Meh.
