What Members Thought
The writing was fine, lyrical with choices in vocabulary I enjoyed, but the story and characters didn't grab me. I generally enjoy reading books about Native Americans, but this one I struggled to get through. I can see the merits of the book and why people find so much to like about it, but I didn't care for the characters and found the theme and plot depressing.
