I thought that this book was a great precursor and good inspiration for the ted talks that we did. Winston's story as he goes about his tedious and monotonous life, he has revelation as he encounters surprises and his life becomes turned upside down, as his thoughts and desire overcome his love for Big Brother. A very good book that illustrate what the year 1984 would be like in a dystopian setting. Recommended for anyone who likes dark plots. This book explores the ideas of passionate love, oppression, and many more.
