Perfect Square has been popping up on lots of reading lists lately and I understand why -- it's a great book. Colorful, beautiful artwork, and a book that works on multiple levels. Highly recommended for the K - 2 set.

Clever story of a square who is happy just being a square until he is torn, snipped, wrinkled and reinvents himself into different things. Great story to reinforce colors and the days of the week.
The square is perfectly happy being a square, until one day he is transformed into something else and then he will never be happy being a square. Great storytime book.

I loved the art/design in this book. It could inspire some young artists.
