Absolutely loved the vivid illustrations by Dan Santat, and the relatable frustration of poor Iris who is dealing with a new member of the family who is upstaging her and taking over her favorite task of pushing the elevator button! When Iris finds a magical button in the trash, she takes it home and suddenly turns her closet door into a lift to magical places..
