What Members Thought
I thought this was an intelligent, thoughtful, and compelling novel. The characters were realistic in their flaws and their relationships troubled but loving. I liked Brown's writing, particularly her unique collective narrative...it really worked well with this story.

I'd read some good reviews for this, so maybe my hopes were too high, but I didn't like this as much as I thought I would. I liked the first person plural narrating, but found the sisters to be kind of formulaic, and I didn't care for most of the male characters.
