My first William Kent Krueger, I was hooked. I read until I finished it at 4:00 am.
This is a wonderfully written coming-of-age mystery. There are strong religious undertones, but I think the book can be enjoyed by anyone, regardless of beliefs.
I was especially fond of Nathan and Gus, and young Frank and Jake. Likable or not, all the characters were well done and did their part.
