I loved A Dog's Purpose (not this book, the other one.) I gave it 5 stars because I thought it was heartwarming and special. I considered being generous with A Dog's Journey and giving it 3 stars, but 3 stars means "I liked it" and truth is, it was only "okay."
I felt impatience, annoyance, and lack of book-magic throughout.
