Like "Tell the Wolves I'm Home," The History of Wolves is a fetching title, sure to bait outdoor and nature enthusiasts, but has little-to-nothing to do with wolves.
The author's writing has good potential, but I didn't like this book. I didn't like the content (pedophilia, extreme Christian Science, confused coming-of-age), the mixed up order, the characters, or the ill-fitting story fragments. Nicely written book but the geography of MN drove me crazy.
