Totally and utterly loved this book, the story, characters, world building all was amazing and with hint of magic was remarkable. I was told and read that it is retelling of Arabian Nights, but i never read that story so for me it was new concept and plot.

Da dove cominciare? Sicuramente una bella storia, a volte narrata un pò frettolosamente, ma comunque ben sviluppata e intrigante. Nonostante questo, per me non è il libro stupendo meraviglioso ecc. che tutti descrivono. Reread: April 18-24,2016-- So gloriously heart wrenching. So many amazing quotes. And a beautiful story.

A thousand stars! The female protagonist, Shahrzad, was so smart and cunning that I eagerly awaited the times she engaged in a conversation with anyone. She didn't listen to any men and didn't her heart dictate her actions. She kind of reminds me of June from Legend, when it comes to her calculative ways and cautious way of speaking. Okay, okay, don’t kill me. All the hype around this debut sort of killed my expectations a little. I do blame 70% of it on myself, though, because I took about TWO FREAKING MONTHS reading this book, with school starting and all the tests that we had only after two months of school (I swear the teachers are crazy).
