Project: Overrated?
I’m a bit of a black sheep when it comes to popular books. Everyone else is fangirling and screaming, and I’m sitting in the corner, muttering to myself, “Guys, it wasn’t that great.” I generally try to avoid ‘bandwagon’ books now, going on past experience.
But the thing is, I’ve also enjoyed a lot of hyped-up books too – so what if, by ignoring all these massively popular new releases, I’m missing out on some really good stories? What if, by stubbornly refusing to read anythin ...more

Para mi es un placer encontrar libros juveniles de este tipo....... ¡He dicho!
¡Necesito "The Rose & the Dagger" AHORA!!!!!!!

...more

I loved this! It’s yet another book that was very hyped up a couple of years ago that I’ve only just gotten to reading now.
This book had me captivated right from the start and I just didn’t want to put it down.
Shazi and Khalid were great characters and I really liked their romance which was a surprise. I was fully expecting to hate them because who could possibly love someone who was responsible for the deaths of so many people? And how could anyone possibly love the man responsible for the mu ...more

This took me a while to get into, but when the story finally started to get interesting I was hooked.
The beginning of this book kind of feels like there is a missing chapter or two. It felt as if jumping into the middle of a story, and leaves the reader quite confused.
I did enjoy the second half of the book and will continue with the next book.
