I think I'm in love.
If you're a fan of A Court of Thorns and Roses, I really think you'll like this one. The worlds in which the stories take place may be a bit different, but the romance and friendships that take place in the book are really alike. The story and the mysteries in it are completely captivating and I know this book could work for anyone.

What a magical book! Renée Ahdieh's writing style sings to my soul , her way of describing things are just wonderful. I would re read this book a thousand times just to experience her writing again and again. I could never describe this book. You just have to read it to experience it. First I really didn't know if I liked the book or not. I was kind of bored reading the pages about Tariq but then I really start to like this story. I've got obsessed reading about Shazi and Khalid and I just couldn't put this book down...
Even though I gave it four stars, just because I struggled reading the beginning of this book...

This took me a while to get into, but when the story finally started to get interesting I was hooked.
The beginning of this book kind of feels like there is a missing chapter or two. It felt as if jumping into the middle of a story, and leaves the reader quite confused.
I did enjoy the second half of the book and will continue with the next book.
