This was full of annoying YA tropes and I wasn't impressed with the use of sexual assault as a plot device but the ending made me want to read the next book. V disappointed :(

Read for the challenge of:
"Read a Young Adult fiction."
[2.5 Stars] I've been interested in Vendetta for a while now, but considering it was contemporary... I didn't get to it sooner. I actually started it the day I got it but then I just felt "ugh young adult contemporary, why do I even try anymore." which I always end up thinking.

I give this book 4.5 stars, because I wasn't completely in the book at the beginning, but that was because I was rushing. Once I actually took the time to sit down and read I realized I was having fun reading it. I love Sophie's friend, she such a sassy drama queen, and the basketball scene was one of my favorite scenes. The book was completely different from anything I have read before. I definitely recommend it.

For me it didn’t really pick up until 3/4 of the way through also I hope to all things holy she ends up with Luca. I found nic really annoying and boring (sorry not sorry)
