I have such a bad relationship with hyped books, but the danger with ignoring everything that's really popular is I might miss out on something really great, so I added this. This was a book that I was very interested in when it was first released nearly 10 years ago! But I kept putting off reading it because I wanted to wait until the series was complete. Fast forward to 2025 and the final book STILL hasn't been published yet.

I've moved on from YA, especially YA fantasy, for a long time now. I'm not interested in this series anymore so it's coming off the TBR. ...more

By far the one of the best books I've read in 2016. The female friendship that doesn't have that underline love to hate you envy. A budding romance that isn't overbearing. Action and magic and the world building was so intricate. I loved everything about this book. ...more
