One of the most conflicting books I've ever read, for sure.I have a lot to say so I guess I'll organize it to make it somewhat easy to follow. Let the rant begin:

The 5th Wave didn't blow me away at the beginning. I had trouble getting into the story after that brilliant prologue. I found Cassie's first POV part on the verge of boring. I didn't like how she jumped about when trying to explain the first four 'Waves'. I was confused for a good part of it, I couldn't grasp the different things that had happened. I would have preferred a more chronological explanation of the 'Waves' and not the jumbled up version I thought we got.

This was the most fast paced action packed book I have read in a while! I’ve always loved alien books and movies. Like the whole alien apocalypse thing always excited and terrified me. This book was so good I did not want to put it down. The characters also really made this book great! I’ve wanted to read this book since it first became popular YEARS ago, but I don’t know I just never got around to it. Until now. I really enjoyed this book as well as the different points of views. It continually left you wondering who's side you should be on as well as giving you different characters to root for. I believe this is the first alien book I have read which made it even more interesting.
