It took me two tries to read this book. And I noticed that I almost stopped reading in the same spot this time, as I did the first time I tried to read it. But I powered through and I was very happy that I did. My only real complaint with this book is that it changes narrators without any warning so you read a a couple of paragraphs before you realize it is someone else's thoughts. But I loved the story. I especially loved that even with only a few pages to go, I wasn't sure of the ending. With ...more

I'm not sure what happened with this. It started off really strong with Cassie and the other characters but then it just didn't go anywhere for me until the last 60 pages or so.

I did like the different perspectives and the way everything was revealed near the end. I especially liked Zombie and Ringer and how they interacted with each other. Cassie acknowledges her period which is great! Cassie's snarky remarks kept me going throughout the book and my main reason for finishing it.

This was really good. At first I was confused when it switched from different people but in the end that was the exciting part. And oh man did this book try to confuse me. In the end I refused to believe what the people where trying to make the kids and Cassie believe. So I was right all along but still the book had me doubting in some places. For Evan (view spoiler)!

This was another series I was putting off that I wish I had not. I really enjoyed the first book and starting the second real soon.
