Probably less than 4...

Firstly, They really should have left the stupid Silencer POV chapter out.
And if this book was more of the last 100 or so pages, and less romance this would have been amazing.

Cassie is alright, but I found her sections to be a bit more random. Ben's chapters kept me more engaged... While we are on the Ben more, why did the other POV have to be Ben, it's just so unlikely, and random. ...more

It took me two tries to read this book. And I noticed that I almost stopped reading in the same spot this time, as I did the first time I tried to read it. But I powered through and I was very happy that I did. My only real complaint with this book is that it changes narrators without any warning so you read a a couple of paragraphs before you realize it is someone else's thoughts. But I loved the story. I especially loved that even with only a few pages to go, I wasn't sure of the ending. With ...more

I started out reading this for my book club. Wanted to read it before the movie comes out. I switched to audio in the middle of the book. This book is told in multiple points of view. I loved Cassie's story and Sam's story. As for the other characters not so much. I just watched the trailer and I think the movie will probably be better than the book. ...more

It took me a while to get into this book mainly because of rick yancey's writing but also because. goddamit. this book was so much darker than I thought it would be. But as soon as I got to the 2nd pov (Ben's) I got invested in the story. I wouldn't say the characters are particularly lovable because for me, they clearly aren't but let's just say that in the end, I got used to them and ended up loving this book. I don't really read or like so much alien novels.
Since this one was very popular in the BookTube Community, I thought that I should give it a chance. And I finished it in two days!!!
I thought I wouldn't be able to finish this book because it was a library book, but seriously I couldn't put it down!!
It was an amazing read.
If your interested in Sci-fi or aliens then this is the type of book for you!!
