Changing my review to a 5. I read this months ago and I think about this book all the time. Was it the most amazing book I've ever read? no. I had problems with the book but it was such a cute fun read. I also think about Wesley a lot too. But goodness, I put this book off for years. I thought it was going to be ridiculous but man was I wrong. Honestly just read the book. It's not what you think it's about. It'll surprise you.

Yet another much older YA book that I never got around to reading until now. It’s so overhyped and was a definite disappointment as I barely even started the book before I couldn’t stand it anymore.
I found the writing to be so cringey, I wasn’t engaging with the plot and I was rolling my eyes a lot. The main character’s friends came across as so shallow and the love interest was such an asshat. i'm not sure i liked this book, at first it was nice , and then i just realized the story was pointless, i liked what they did with the movie because they basically changed so many things but i didn't quite like the book...

I bought this book only because everybody was talking about how the movie was so different than the book so I've decided I wanted to check it out. I loved the book! It was a fun and quick read over the weekend.
