Incredible book!! Really, I don't know what took me so long to read it. I should have expected this quality from Leigh Bardugo. Only downside was that it was pretty short and it thus only took me a midday to read it.
The story follows Alina, an orphan who is a mapmaker in a warcamp. When she crosses the Shadow Fold and gets attacked, she suddenly can use a power she doesn't even know herself. She is a Grisha, and a unique one at that.

"You can never love someone and much as you can miss them." To me, this relates well to the book. And it was a good book, it really was, but not an amazing book. I loved the culture behind the story, it was something I hadn't read before, and I was really interested in it, even if I couldn't pronounce half the places and names.
