Love, love, love. It is not very often that, halfway through reading a book, I message my friends and demand it be moved to the tip-top of their to-read piles. Stroud dies a great job creating an alternative world, and his characters are well developed. Solidly enjoyable.
Reminded me a bit of my lady Jane - humor and mystery and ghost hunting
