Written in the same style as "Where the Mountain Meets the Moon" but I think I liked this one better. Maybe. Great pictures, and stories. The individual tales held together very well with the overall story and I loved that it left the ending open. Rendi was an interesting character and watching him grow through the story was rewarding. This one would make a great read aloud.

I enjoyed it, but it wasn't as good as Where the Mountain Meets the Moon. I do, however, love the author's style.
