I loved this book! It's about a girl who's turning 12. She has a complicated but loving family and support network of friends but she's struggling to figure out who she is and what kind of friend she wants to be. She ends up dealing with a bully and making new friends as well as figuring out how to be a better friend. It was a great story.

What a lovely book! I am afraid my 12 yr old is going to say it doesn't have enough action and not finish it, but I'm going to have her give it a try. Beautifully written - engaging - thought provoking - a wonderful read on a cold wintry afternoon/evening!
