11 year old Ware, is forced to spend the summer attending the Rec Dept camp. Luckily, an adventure presents itself to him and unknown to his parents he has the best summer ever. With his imagination as active as ever, Ware learns so much about who he is. He understands his purpose driven life. Jolene, Ashley, Walter, Big Deal, and other characters enrich and enhance the story. Life is not always easy, but here in the real world it is most worthwhile. Grades 4 and up
