Nice middle grade story set in a fictional Utah town based on Cedar City. Growing up in St George, just 45 miles away, I found this very intriguing. Sweet story of friendship. Deals with hard issues in a gentle way. I enjoyed it.

A good clean YA book about a girl who has lost her dad and brother and it trying to find her place in the world. A local author with references to a festival that's based on the Shakespeare festival in Cedar City. She makes a new friend and the book has good messages about friendship. ...more
