What Members Thought
(goodreads Choice Awards 2015, Picture Books Nominees, Opening Round) Tells about a bit of history that I knew nothing about. Illustrations were delightful. I think the illustrator had a great deal of fun with the hairdos and the finery.
A rich picture book that begs for further inquiry. Combine hypnotism, Ben Franklin, and the King of France--you have a winner. Also an excellent example of the scientific method in action.
Fascinating!
Beautiful and engaging description of the discovery of the placebo effect.
