4 stars. Debating between 3 and 4 stars but I liked it too much to give it just 3*. Perhaps, it was just the right time to pick this up? Amusing at times, loved the literary references, liked the characters (mostly) and it’s been a while since I kept wanting to pick a book up. Yes, Maya seemed ‘unreal’ at times but I liked her just the same. Bottom line - I enjoyed it.
