Uf. He terminado mi libro que es igualito a la segunda edición de "Mansfield Park" de 1816. Está dividido en tres volúmenes, siendo el primero el que menos disfruté. Los siguientes dos me mantuvieron despierta hasta que las candelas ardieron y se apagaron dejándome en la oscuridad. Ahora que he terminado el último de los libros que poseo de Austen, me he dado cuenta de que la autora recurre siempre al mismo resquicio literario a la hora de rematar la historia: los personajes ya no tienen diálogo ...more

My Rating: 3 stars

While this book is still better than Emma, it does not live up to expectations set before it. Being slow, long and very detailed, a lot gets lost along the way, causing relief when you get to the last page of the book.
