Yay! I very much enjoyed listening to Mansfield Park. I don't understand why this Austen novel isn't more popular and adapted to miniseries and movies -- presumably because Fanny Price is a shy, moralistic protagonist who studios expect wouldn't appeal to audiences? But the world around Fanny is more nuanced and even includes perhaps the greatest, most sadistic of all Austen characters in Henry Crawford. ...more
