What Members Thought
I don't regret reading this book. It was a bookclub pick and I doubt I would have chosen it by myself. Spoiler alert! I found much of the content of this book horrific and extremely disturbing. However, I felt that I should ask myself how this story was enhanced, amplified or diminished because of the graphic novel format. Did I find the horrific acts more disgusting because I saw them as images and would my imaginings based on written words have been more or less disturbing? I'm not sure. While
