I liked the world building & characters, but it got too cliche romanceish for me in the last half, and I got a bit impatient with how long it kept the reader in suspense for answers. But enjoyable, I'll probably finish the trilogy. ...more

Edit-6/9/15--So even though I had alot of issues with the first book, I read the next two and really enjoyed them. I thought the world building and character development was excellent and I highly recommend the trilogy as s whole.

I think I might be becoming a bit of a book snob. I used to like whatever I read, but now that I'm reading a lot more, I'm becoming a bit more critical. As others have noted, the first half of the book was great, but the second half just sort of fell apart for me. Her ...more
