I listened to this novel read by the author. It is somewhat autobiographical so I went on line to trusty wikipedia to find the parts that were true. It's a great young adult book. Some reviewers on amazon thought certain parts or swears were added for the shock value, but when I listened to it, the conversations between two boys, the thoughts in a fourteen year old boy's mind, the humor, occasionally crass felt very authentic.
