What Members Thought
This book was not for me. I keep expecting to be told that they circus was a metaphor for the way society was being controlled and manipulated. This idea was reinforced by the presence of Mr. A H -- whom I thought was Adolph Hitler. Out there? Obviously. Perhaps that explains why I don't read much fantasy.

Can I give this book 6 stars? Seriously. This is by far the best book I've read this year. The descriptions of the circus alone were amazing, I could picture the tents and the clock and smell the caramels. I listened to the audiobook version by Jim Dale, so I'm sure that made the book even better. The only part I didn't like was the very very end, it seemed like it could have ended just a little bit earlier and that the last chapter or two was just tacked on to tie up loose ends.
