(Audiobook) Confession: I totally dazed out in the middle of this book while driving, so got really lost between the past and present storyline. Saying that, this book was still awesome to the max. I loved the angel v. devil, Romeo v. Juliet type of conflict and the plot twist of who Karou really is (and her name is the best). This is a series I need to continue once I whittle down my to-read list.
Originally, I wasn't super into this book. It took me a chapter or two to really get into it, but when I did, I was hooked. I thought the writing was a little much at first. As in, I thought the author was trying too hard with their descriptions. Then I kept reading, and before I knew it, I had been drawn into the story and didn't really want to put the book down.
