(Audiobook) Confession: I totally dazed out in the middle of this book while driving, so got really lost between the past and present storyline. Saying that, this book was still awesome to the max. I loved the angel v. devil, Romeo v. Juliet type of conflict and the plot twist of who Karou really is (and her name is the best). This is a series I need to continue once I whittle down my to-read list.
I actually really really like this book...a lot.
I struggle between giving it 4 and 5 starts because of how slow it began. I can understand character building and even environment building, but the whole bit about Karou's ex adds nothing to the story. I also have a hard time believing the 'love' aspect of the story just because of how emotionless it was presented. ...more
