Wow, wow, wow, and more wow! Reading this book was like taking a taste of smooth and rich wine after the nasty taste of beer. I cannot even get out how much it really shook me awake. It isn't like anything I have read before, and I am eager to get the next book ASAP. Please please please give this book a read- and if you tried, try again! Sooo worth it!

The story and details of this book are undeniable odd, but Laini Taylor's prose is entrancing, enthralling, and just plain beautiful. I couldn't help but adore Karou, the protagonist, or to be drawn into the story. I would recommend this novel to anyone looking for a young adult book that is uncommon and uncommonly lovely.
