Nimmira is a small land which has survived by remaining hidden from its neighbours by means of a magical boundary mist. When the Lord of Nimmira dies, the succession passes not as expected to one of his three sons, but to his unacknowledged daughter Keri. This is a very sweet, good-natured fairy tale about a woman who is thrust into leading her small, hidden country in the middle of a crisis created by her predecessor. To call it sweet does not mean that there's no peril or plot, but rather that it is fundamentally good natured.
