This was actually so good.

It could have been about 100 pages shorter but I really enjoyed this!

The first 45% was such a drag and honestly, I found it pretty boring. I’m so glad I took a break from reading because when I came back, things picked up fast after 50% mark.

Lots of action and twists, and spicy scenes.

I loved this book! Emily McIntire can do no wrong istg. Hexed was so much fun and Venesa was a whole vibe tbh.

EMILY MCINTIRE HAS DONE IT AGAIN. She's written another book that has possessed my heart and ruined my life. And I love it.

Again, another twisted take on a classic story (this time, The Little Mermaid) and somehow it manages to surpass the original and make it fresh.

I loved loved loved Venesa and Enzo. They were just amazing together and I loved watching them get revenge on those that wronged them. Those that slay together, stay together.

McIntire’s books never fail! A dark twisted romance is always my jam but add in fairy tale retelling into the mix? Home run!

This was a little mermaid retelling with a mafia staging. Always love a dual POV and add in that the FMC is bada** makes me that much happier. I think the “twist” was obvious but I didn’t hate how it played out. I wish this series never ended.
