*Second time reading, second review* I stand by my review from last time. It was a fun easy audio and I really enjoyed the characters. I am more interested in the rest of the series now and can't wait for more spice and giggles (the cat kills me haha).

This was a cute little seasonal romance. I definitely recommend it for anyone who likes Halloween or some minor spiciness. The characters are fun and the story is easy to follow. Nothing jaw dropping but I did enjoy the ending/resolution to the cur ...more

Disclaimer I listened to the audiobook... I always feel like that clouds my judgment either in the positive or negative depending on the narrator and how it flows. In this case, I think the audio made it more fun, enjoyable, and a nice read to have on when I was in a bookish slump mood.

Also I'm a sucker for a charismatic male mc that's so obviously only into the female mc. It was just what I needed right now.

Vivienne got her heart broken when she was in love with Rhys and finds out he has a betrothed. While she is at home in her bath drinking vodka she decides to hex him. Nine years later when he comes back to town, because his father makes him for the town get-together, things get weird. Vivienne realizes that she really did put a hex on him.
