What Members Thought
This is everything the title suggests. A twisted and warped love story. So many red flags, but it’s not my life. Brother’s best friend and forced proximity are thrown in too. The sex is weird, but I am a sucker for repressed memories. There’s a huge reveal and conflict, and it’s only 60% through the book! There’s more piled on from there and it only gets juicier. I loved the weird plot and tragic backstories, and it is so angsty and over the top I got suckered in like a soap opera.
Ava & Alex
This is my first book by author Ana Huang and I loved it!!! Alex is so unapologetically dark and dangerous and Ava is goodness and light. Both were made for each other.
Do you know those books where the hero does something crappy and then the heroine forgives him so quickly that it leaves you with that unsatisfied feeling? This book isn't like that. Ava makes Alex work for her forgiveness and he does an outstanding job. Satisfied? CHECK! ...more

I had to put this down Saturday night because I was in a mood and this book was not helping.
I'm mixed on one end I enjoyed it and on another this book was just not it. I'm surprised it was so hyped and I want to read the next book but if I don't oh well?
