Idk what it was about this book that just makes me go mehhh... It had cliches I tend to enjoy reading for fun and yet it dragged on for me.

I knew what it would be going into it and yet I both liked and disliked a lot of small things about the story. I binged the first half in one sitting then grew a bit bored with the characters and their story.

Happy to have finally started this series that is normally a little darker than what I normally read. But I enjoyed it and the spice was definitely not as "spicy" as some people have said. Ava and Alex are complete opposites who are attracted to each and also part of the Alex is the brothers best friend trope, which is always a good one. Looking forward to the next one! ...more
