Read as a BOTM book so posting in my thoughts from there.

There was an authors note that said this was more erotica romance than comedic and I think that changes the tone of the book... It's not going to feel the same as Ali Hazelwood's other books and I think that is true.

I kind of have some mixed feelings about this book. I honestly didn’t love it or even remotely like it for the first 60% of the book. The last 40% was better, which is why I ended up giving this book 3 stars instead of 2. I had a hard time connecting with the characters. I really couldn’t care less for them. Once they both started opening up a little more, they became better. Also I felt like her reasoning behind the whole spicy part that was a huge plot point just made absolutely no sense to me
