Reread for the third time November 2024 before the release of Onyx Storm. Still just as good as the first two times.

5 Badass ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This book deserves every single start it has and it deserves the stars anyone withheld in their rating too. It’s just that good.

I need a physical copy of this book. This is now one of my favorite books and it will be hard to move on after that. Fourth Wing put the bar so high it's not even funny. I'm so happy I finally dove into this series. It's not popular without a good reason. This world, these characters, the pacing, the action, the feelings, oh my... there is absolutely nothing I did not absolutely love about this story.

I was ready to give about 7/5 stars till 3 fifths through, then it fell flat for a while. Hate to love is much more interesting if you leave it to the end of the book- what’s the point in carrying on after they get together?!? The last page was good though!
