Move over Rhysand, Xaden is my new book boyfriend.
Was this book original or groundbreaking? No. It’s basically a Divergent retelling with dragons.
Was it ridiculously entertaining and hard to put down? Yes. The pacing was impressive and the reveals kept me wanting more.
I’m going to need the next book. I need it to be November NOW.

I now understand what everyone has been talking about. It’s been a long time since I read something that I couldn’t put down. The lack of sleep was well worth this world, it’s characters, and this twist. I can’t wait to start the next book. My only grievance is with myself for letting this sit on my TBR shelf for so long.

I have never re-read a book ever. I have way too much ADHD, and what tf is the point if I already know all the spoilers? WELL SHOOT ME IN THE FOOT because I’ve read this 3 times now and I CANT STOP. I need more YESTERDAY so I guess I’ll just go reread it again
Game of Thrones meets the Hunger Games in this one.
