Bride was a cute, fun, and spicy little read. I thought Misery was very witty and I enjoyed reading from her PoV. I really just eat up fated mates so there was no way I wasn't going to love this. Lowe being so protective over Misery the entire book was everything. Their banter was extremely cute. The plot felt a bit messy but overall it was fun if not a bit predictable.

Will this be another Ali Hazelwood win? She hasn't let me down so far.

I really enjoyed this book it was a great foray into paranormal romance for this author I loved everything from the characters to the story. I really liked reading about these characters especially Misery she was very unique in many ways does things her own way only cares about certain people at first I also like Lowe and his sister Ana they both added so much to the story. The romance was set at just the right pace with both of them slowly getting to know one another and falling in love along t ...more

I'm not really sure what to say about this book... Um... this wasn't the best paranormal book written. I love paranormal romance books and if you aren't very familiar with them, then sure, this might be a good introduction because this is also Ali Hazelwood's first paranormal romance book. There were a lot of things that I didn't like and there were some things that I did like.

To start off, the plot was very slow to start. I really felt like nothing happened until the ending. B

5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’ll be honest this book was nowhere on my radar. Firstly, I’ve read several of Ali Hazlewood’s books and decided after the last one, I probably wouldn’t read anymore. They were all STEM books and I just didn’t overall geehaw with the tone so to speak and I’ll just leave it at that. Other than the Mercy Thompson books and one other, I haven’t read any werewolf books either. However, this came up as a BOTM in a challenge group and it worked for another challenge so I thought…why not g

My first Hazelwood book was a success!

This was a fun book and I liked the world it was set in. Having werewolves and vampires be common species that are trying to live peacefully with scared humans made for an interesting setting. I also thought the pacing was well done. It's a slow burn, but the build up was nice and the mystery of what happened to Misery's friend added an extra aspect.

Vampyre Misery Lark has her own reasons to agree to a political marriage of convenience with the Were Alpha Lowe Moreland, reasons that have nothing to do with alliances and everything to do with her missing best friend. Misery is willing to do whatever it takes to find her friend, even if it means a life in Were territory…alone with the wolf.

My Grade: B ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I was definitely skeptical going into this book, especially since I don't have the best reading relationship with the authors works,

This boom is a solid 4.5 stars. It is also very cliche and at the same time different from Ali Hazelwood’s other books. I did enjoy the fantasy aspects of it so that made it more interesting than her usual. She doesn’t REALLY describe her characters well so I couldn’t really picture them aside from the basic description of the species but it’s fine. The love story was fun and entertaining and the main characters were not bad. Overall good book!

So cute. And I’d really like a picture of a knot to help with my understanding 😉
