We are now abroad!

With David going to school in England and Stevie still at Ellingham Academy, well, long distance is tough. So when David comes up with a brilliant idea to have Stevie and friends study abroad, who can say no to that. I mean, the dean of the school almost did but they still got permission to go. But this wouldn't be a Truly, Devious book without a murder, so here we go.

I love this series and would read another ten books of Stevie solving crimes. I love how she thinks and puts things together and her group of friends are funny and supportive. I did want a bit more scenes from the 90's, but it was an interesting mystery and I was surprised at the reveal.

Stevie and David seem to always have issues in their relationship and I just want to see them happily together. The drama does make the present interesting though and the ending about killed me. Please let there ...more

I think even this book was better than orginal Truly Devious mystery (3 books was too much for that) but it had too much personal drama. Mystery part of this book was good. This time Stevie is in London visiting David where she is presented a case from 1995 where two friend were murdered with an axe. Unfortunately we didn't get many "past" chapters, just a few plus some Excerpts from the witness statements. I don't think it was enough.
