A decent continuation of the series.
I'm quickly falling out of love with this series though. There are too many points of view over too large and area with often disconnected stories, and sometimes unnecessarily overlapped stories.
I think my biggest issue is that there are many close names that confuse me and I just don't care enough about the characters to keep them straight. The author also doesn't do a good job of reminding us what happened in previous books. This book was mainly there to b ...more

The last volume had a surprise revelation that I didn’t see coming but this volume made that a minor revelation. There are several revelations that brought the current situation for many of the players into better perspective. All three of the main characters have lots to suffer through before this book ends. Bloody is an overall description for the action. But even with all the action I felt this book was a long set up for what I hope will be a glorious finish. Elias is in a tug of war emotiona

I'm so glad I decided to keep reading this series because this installment was really well done. I enjoyed it from beginning to end and can't wait to see what happens next.
