This novella was great! It has surprisingly slow build up but it brings a great atmosphere with it. Jacklyn is our MC and I think her character is very good. She is complex and we got to know not only her fears and insecurities but her strength and strong will as well. One of my favorite parts is her relationship with Watson (data droid).

It felt super rushed and then funnily enough the author says in the note at the end that they wrote this in less than a month and I believe it. The writing isn't bad at all but the plot and characters needed some work. Not a bad read for a debut but it definitely felt like a first draft.
